How do we resist the negative forces in our world today and be the change NOW that the world needs us to be? Witness a cast of 60 dancers lean into how they process the myriad of feelings around these important questions. We must meet calamity with serenity and meet hate with love. We must find our way back home to who we truly are and overcome conflict by finding guidance in spirit and love.

This rollercoaster of a show takes you on a journey, from sheer joy and celebration of the movement arts to heartfelt messages where dancers address serious topics such as mental health awareness and our warming planet. Dancers celebrate true hip hop culture, spicy Latin jazz, and heart-moving contemporary dancing that will comfort the soul and invite you in to transform grit into grace before the night is over. Modern and contemporary ballet whisk you off into dream lands and the incredible energy from the entire cast of all ages and levels of experience.

Choreographed, directed and produced by longtime Camden resident Kea Tesseyman who finds a way to lean into the grit and discover the grace as it unfolds throughout the movements and storytelling unique to her style of show-creation. This is NOT a recital, it is a community event. In her 22nd year teaching dance, Tesseyman leads kids into the light to experience the joy of performance, teens to the stage to use their voices and adults to the floor to move you.

Our very outspoken teenagers use their voices through dance to speak out about the events that have unfolded across the world this past year. Watch this miraculous event take place 3 nights ONLY. With positivity, light, courage and willingness to grow, dancers rejoice and celebrate in the love and connection they have in this moment right now, and with one another.

The Moment Is Now – This is our Dancer’s Resistance. Hold On …. Change Is Coming!  FMI: keadancecenter.com.
